As a growing franchise, Pigtails & Crewcuts came to us to help them update their brand and build a system to create a more consistent brand experience across all touch points. We began by refining the color palette, with secondary and tertiary options that add to the playful, youthful feeling of the brand. We also defined primary and copy fonts and the use cases for each to add to the fun nature of the brand. We also developed photography standards to eliminate the use of stock photography to create a more consistent look and give the audience a clearer picture of the experience in each salon. 

Over the years, we’ve continued to evolve the brand by adding textures for graphics, illustrations, text bubbles and more custom design elements. We also set standards for ads and social media graphics, even creating templates in Canva to empower owners to create their own on-brand marketing collateral. We’ve also developed tone, video and social media standards so that no matter which location is creating graphics or distributing content, it offers the same Pigtails & Crewcuts brand experience from one location to the next.
