Our Role:

  • Branding
  • Logo design

Robert Pittman, executive director and founder of the Janus Institute, wanted to create a way to share ideas and information to educate and empower community and economic developers and anyone who wants to make their communities better places to live and work. We began by establishing the brand for this concept. We landed on the name Prosperous Places, which reflects the goal of equipping people with the knowledge to drive positive changes to help their communities grow. The logo pays homage to Prosperous Places’ roots in the Janus Institute with a tree silhouette. The brand also features an eye-catching color palette and imagery style to help the brand stand out as a unique resource.

Since launching the brand in early 2019, the Janus Institute has received positive feedback about the Prosperous Places brand and how it is a much-needed resource for community and economic development.
