1. Our Commitment to Privacy

Your privacy is important to the Rock Paper Scissors (RPS) team. To better protect your privacy we provide this notice explaining our online information practices and the choices you make about the way your information is collected and used. To make this notice easy to find, we make it available through a link on our website footer and at every point where personally identifiable information may be requested. This privacy policy details the ways we collect information from you; how we use that information; your ability to access, update, or request for us to delete your information; our commitment to data security; changes to this policy; and how you may reach us should you have any questions. We know this is a lot of information to process, so grab some coffee and read on. Let us know if you have any questions.

2. The Information We Collect

This notice applies to all information collected or submitted on the RPS website (www.123shoot.com), including but not limited to webinar and other event registrations, newsletter registrations, and requests for information on RPS products and services. The types of information we collect include names (individuals and business names), physical/mailing addresses, email addresses, and phone numbers.

3. The Way We Use the Information We Collect

We use the information you provide about yourself through our website to contact you regarding the specific reason you submitted your information, such as to send webinar and event announcements, to send you our newsletter, and to respond to your request for additional information on RPS products and services. We do not share this information with outside parties except to the extent to which it is required by law for the protection of our legal rights.

Google Analytics: The Rock Paper Scissors website, 123shoot.com, uses Google Analytics to collect standard internet log information as well as details regarding visitor behavior patterns. We use this to learn facts about our website, such as the number of visitors to particular pages of the website, the content they are reading, and where they are spending time on our website. The information collected is always processed in a way that will not identify visitors. Rock Paper Scissors does not make attempts to discover the identities of our website visitors, nor do we allow Google to attempt to learn the identities of our website visitors.

Wi-Fi: When you use the guest Wi-Fi at Rock Paper Scissors, we may collect data about your device, the volume of data you use, websites and applications you visit or access, and your usage by access time, location, and frequency.

Mailing Lists: We do collect personal information when you register to receive email communication (newsletters, announcements, etc.) from Rock Paper Scissors. We use the information collected for multiple reasons, such as to answer questions you have asked us; to contact you if we need to obtain or provide additional info; to confirm our records are correct, and to check in once in a while to make sure you’re happy and satisfied. We do not, and never will, sell, rent, or trade our email lists with other organizations or businesses.

Campaign Monitor: We use Campaign Monitor to deliver email communications such as announcements, event information, and newsletters. Through this platform, we gather information regarding email open rates and clicks using industry-standard technologies, which help us monitor and improve our communications to help us deliver content you want to read. For more information, please see Campaign Monitor’s privacy policy. You can unsubscribe from these emails at any time using the Unsubscribe link at the bottom of our emails or by emailing info@123shoot.com (info[at]123shoot[dot]com).

Google Suite: We use tools and features from the Google Suite, such as Calendar, Drive Docs, Forms, Slides, and Sheets, to invite you to meetings, content collection and collaboration, to build surveys, and more. We will always make any pieces we are collaborating on accessible in a way that does not require a Google account to access and use. In addition, we will often share such documents or Google Drive folders with you so that you have access at your fingertips. If you have questions, please refer to Google’s Privacy Policy

Monday.com: We use Monday.com as our project management software. We will provide you with access to this tool and training and resources so you can use it effectively. When you accept your invitation to Monday.com, you agree to receive emails from Monday.com regarding your projects and any action items we have assigned to you. You may adjust how you receive notifications from Monday.com within your individual user settings or by unsubscribing via the Unsubscribe link at the bottom of any email notification from Monday.com. For more information, please see Monday.com’s privacy policy

PandaDoc: PandaDoc is our software for creating and sending proposals, sharing creative for approval, and collecting access to your digital assets. These documents are encrypted to provide extra security when sharing access to digital assets such as your website, domain, and other accounts. For more information, please see the PandaDoc privacy policy.

Payment Processing: We collect payments through WooCommerce for monthly online subscriptions, ACH Bank Transfer via Stripe, and ACH Auto-Draft via GoCardless. We will never share your payment information with any outside parties for marketing purposes and have put the proper measures into place for making online payments securely. For more information, please see the following privacy policies:

We also accept payments the old-fashioned way through checks and credit or debit cards if you’re into that.

ZOOM: We use ZOOM as our virtual meeting platform and for our phone system. As a standard practice, we record all meetings to have an added level of documentation. This allows us to share the recordings and transcriptions with team members who may not be present for the call but would benefit from hearing portions of the conversation. We are always happy to share these meeting recordings with you. Additionally, if there are any portions of the conversation that need to be kept confidential, we will redact that part of the conversation from the final recording. Meeting recordings are saved to a team member’s local device and then uploaded to either Google Drive or DropBox for storage. We do not store meeting recordings in ZOOM’s cloud storage.

Each member of our team can send and receive text messages via the direct line listed in their email signature. By initiating a text message conversation with any member of our team or by electing to receive text messages from us through opt-in methods, including but not limited to website forms, mobile opt-ins, verbally, on paper, or through email, you are authorizing that we may contact you via text message through our ZOOM phone system. Texting is not our preferred method of communication, and we suggest liming text messages for communications such as:

  • To notify us if you are running late for a meeting
  • To coordinate two-factor authentication codes for logins

We will only use text messaging to communicate with you and respond to your messages as appropriate. We will never share your phone number with any third-party services for marketing purposes. If at any time you no longer wish to communicate with us via text message, let your Project Lead know, and they will update our records for future reference or opt out by following the instructions included in a prior text message. For more information, please see ZOOM’s privacy policy.

NOTE: At this time, we do not employ the use of any SMS text marketing platforms. This privacy policy will be updated to reflect the use of such platforms if and when they are employed.

4. Our Commitment to Data Security

Rock Paper Scissors is committed to preventing unauthorized access, maintaining data security, and ensuring the correct use of information. We have put the appropriate physical, electronic, and managerial procedures in place to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.

5. Accessing and Changing Your Personal Information

If you would like to update your information or request that your personal information be removed from our records at any time, please send a request via email to info@123shoot.com (info[at]123shoot[dot]com). If you have opted in to receive email communication from us and no longer wish to receive these emails, you may opt-out at any time by clicking the Unsubscribe link at the bottom of the email.

6. Changes to this Privacy Policy

Rock Paper Scissors will review this privacy policy routinely to ensure legal compliance and track changes in technology. These practices are subject to change at any time. To ensure you are familiar with the most current version of our privacy policy, we recommend bookmarking this page and reviewing it periodically. This policy was last updated on April 10, 2024.

7. For E.U. Visitors

RPS complies with the EU Data Protection Directive 95/46/EC framework as set forth by the European Union regarding the collection, use, and retention of personal data from European Union member countries and Switzerland.
