Over the years, Rainbow Village’s leadership realized some of the community didn’t realize the full scope of services the organization offers to help families step out of homelessness. As the organization approached its 30th anniversary, the leadership team wanted to refresh the brand to create a visual side that matched what the organization was and build out a clearer message about what Rainbow Village does to help those in need.
While working on the logo, we also worked with the Rainbow Village team to refine the tone and language used to create a clear and consistent message for the website from which they could build off of for future materials. The new logo and refined message work cohesively to show and tell the story of the organization and Rainbow Village’s commitment to helping those they serve get back on their feet and be positioned for success after they leave the program.
Keeping the same color palette allowed us to build a clean and impactful new logo while maintaining brand recognition.
Combining and simplifying the rainbow and house imagery created a modern take on the original logo.
We began by refining the logo to reflect the organization’s enduring work, with each element and color in the logo representing part of the organization’s mission to be a place where families experiencing homelessness can find a foundation of help, hope, housing, and healing.
