Gateway85 Community Improvement District (Gateway85) is one of Georgia’s largest community improvement districts located in an extremely culturally diverse section of Gwinnett County. In 2018, the organization planned a food tour to help generate a buzz around the global flavors found within the restaurant scene in the district. We worked with the organization’s leaders to create a restaurant map to help engage residents and visitors, promote the cultural experiences that await visitors and build on the excitement of the food tour. The map features approximately 50 restaurants with numbered markers to help identify their locations, six featured destinations with short descriptions and custom illustrations, and a call to action sharing ways diners can share their experience on social media. In 2022, updates were made to showcase new additions to the ever-growing international restaurant scene within Gateway85.
